Merry Christmas
We missed having my family here for Christmas because of the weather so we will have another Christmas on New Years Day.
The girls dug right in. Ally told me to make sure Santa put their names on the presents so she would know who they were for. So I used a big marker and had the girls identify their own gift. Ally got a dress, a couple outfits, school books, a game, curious george doll, and book, disney view finder, movie, etc.Abi got a vtech computer, einstein doll, dora bath toys, dora panties, curious george doll, outfits, and elefun game.

Christmas Eve
We had a quiet Christmas Eve. I made stuffed peppers and sugar cookies. Then the girls took a bath, opened a present (new jammies), then we decorated the cookies and ate them!
Look at the Curly top! Her hair is so curly after a bath.Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Gingerbread house.
Our completed Gingerbread house.
The girls did great. Allyson was getting frustrated that some of the candy would fall off.
We have managed to do 2 every year since we usually do one after Thanksgiving and then one at home. I wanted to wait till Christmas Eve but the girls were too excited.

Snowed in
More projects to keep the girls entertained. We play disney games on the computer and then print out a picture to color.
Abi hard at work on her Einstein picture.

Day 3 of snow we made hand wreaths. The girls got to use Glitter glue which is rare.
Our completed projects on one day. Wreaths, rudolphs, princess wands, and our ginger bread house. The girls love arts and crafts. I have a hard time coming up with enough ideas.Day 3 of snow we made hand wreaths. The girls got to use Glitter glue which is rare.
I love the rudolphs. Abi's is so little because I traced their feet and hands. SO CUTE.

snack play
I got the girls some pretzels and marshmellows for a snack. I left the room and came back to see that the girls were making dumbells out of them and Ally was showing Abi how to do it.
I wish they always got along this well. But I will cherish these peaceful times.
Here are the results. Ally has such a good memory. She remembered doing these last year along with snowman with the larger marshmellows. I will have to get some more next time.
